Issue
On certain Grand Cherokee L models, the driver may not be able to switch on the high beam headlamps if the light switch is set to the AUTO position. Note: This recall only affects vehicles that are not equipped with the "automatic high beams" function.
Safety risk
High beam headlamps that do not switch on may cause reduced visibility and could increase the risk of a crash.
Corrective actions
FCA Canada will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer to update the vehicle software.
