Issue:
On a small number of fire trucks, the generator lifting cables could fail. If this happens, the generator could fall during installation or removal.
Safety Risk:
A generator that falls could create the risk of injury.
Corrective Actions:
Rosenbauer will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your fire truck to a Cummins authorized service center to inspect the generator lifting cables. They will be repaired or replaced, as necessary.
