Issue
Issue:
On certain trailers equipped with a Dexter Smart-Steer 2.0 self-steering axle, the bolts that attach the steer arm to the knuckle could break. If this happens, the steer arm or the bolts could detach from the trailer.
Safety Risk:
Parts that detach from the trailer could create a road hazard for others and increase the risk of a crash.
Corrective Actions:
Trail King will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your trailer to a Dexter Canada authorized service facility to weld the steer arms to the knuckles.
