Issue

Issue: On certain motorcycles, the engine oil pressure relief valve may not have been assembled correctly. As a result, there may not be enough engine oil pressure. This can cause the oil pressure warning light to turn on. If you continue to ride the motorcycle with low oil pressure, the engine could fail. Safety Risk: A sudden engine failure could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Kawasaki will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your motorcycle to a dealer to replace the engine oil pressure relief valve.
