Issue

Issue: On certain ATVs, the electric power steering (EPS) system could fail suddenly while driving. If this happens, there would be a sudden change in steering feel and an increase in steering effort. Safety Risk: A loss of power steering assist may result in a sudden increase in steering effort, especially at low vehicle speeds. This could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: CFMOTO will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your ATV to a dealer to either replace or reprogram the EPS unit. The dealer will also replace the EPS wire connection. To reduce the safety risk, CFMOTO recommends that you should not drive your ATV until this recall is completed.
