Issue:
On certain fire trucks, the mounting bolts for the steering gear may loosen and fall out or interfere with steering components. If this happens, you may have difficulty steering or there could be a loss of steering control.
Safety Risk:
A loss of steering control could create a risk of a crash.
Corrective Actions:
Spartan Fire will notify owners by mail and instruct them to contact a dealer to replace the steering mounting bolts.
