Issue:
On certain digger derricks, the capacity placard plate may have been installed too close to the boom. As a result, the operator's hand could get pinched when the boom is raised.
Safety Risk:
Getting your hand pinched between the boom and the capacity placard plate could cause injury.
Corrective Actions:
Altec will notify owners by mail and provide you with instructions to relocate the placard plate from the left-hand control pod to the right-hand control pod.
