Issue: A wiring harness in the rear part of certain motorcycles could be damaged by contact with the lower subframe. If this happens, the wiring harness could short circuit and the engine could stall. Safety Risk: A sudden loss of engine power could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: KTM will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your motorcycle to a dealer to inspect the wiring harness for damage, modify the tail end body panel and install additional wiring harness protection. Dealers will also repair or replace the wiring harness, as necessary.
