Issue:
On certain vehicles, the bolts that attach the front subframe may not be properly tightened. As a result, the vehicle may not perform as designed in a crash.
Safety Risk:
If the vehicle is involved in a crash, there could be an increased risk of injury.
Corrective Actions:
Ford will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer to tighten the front subframe bolts, if necessary.
