In addition, the accessory reserve capacity (ARC) list on the compliance label may be higher that it should be. These errors could lead to overloading and cause poor handling or a tire failure. Note: This recall only affects F-350 models with the following options: 6.7 L diesel engine, single rear wheels, 4x4, Crew Cab, long box, and either a 5442 kg (12,000 lb.) or 5623 kg (12,400 lb.) Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR).

Safety risk

Poor handling or a tire failure could cause a loss of control and result in a crash.

Corrective actions

Ford will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your truck to a dealer to replace the tire and loading information label and compliance label.
