Issue: On certain vehicles, the bolts that attach the rear suspension module to the subframe may be loose or missing. As a result, vehicle stability and rear impact crash performance could be reduced. Safety Risk: Reduced stability could cause a loss of control and increase the risk of a crash. Reduced rear crash performance could create an increased risk of injury in a crash. Corrective Actions: Ford will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer to inspect the rear suspension module bolts. The bolts will be tightened or replaced, as necessary.
