Issue: Certain vehicles do not meet a performance requirement of Canadian regulations for crash protection. In particular, the vehicles do not meet the minimum testing requirements for an out of position 6-year old child located on the front passenger seat. Safety Risk: An airbag system that does not meet the performance requirements of Canadian regulations could create an increased risk of injury in a crash. Corrective Actions: Audi will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer to update the airbag control module.
