Issue:
On certain motorcycles, the exhaust valve cable could make contact with the main battery wiring. This could damage the wiring and cause a short circuit.
Safety Risk:
A short circuit could create the risk of a fire.
Corrective Actions:
Ducati will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your motorcycle to a dealer to install a cable guide and secure the exhaust butterfly valve cable.
