Issue

Issue:
On a small number of vehicles, the compliance label and tire pressure placard may not have been installed. As a result, information such as vehicle load capacity and tire inflation pressure may not be easily accessible. This could lead you to inflate the tires incorrectly. Driving a vehicle with tires that are overinflated or underinflated could cause poor handling and/or a tire failure.

Safety Risk:
Tires that are not properly inflated could increase the risk of a crash.

Corrective Actions:
Mercedes-Benz will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer for an inspection. The dealer will install the missing label(s), as necessary.
