Issue
Issue:
On certain fire trucks, the power take-off (PTO) could disengage and cause a loss of hydraulic pressure. As a result, the aerial device (ladder) would be unable to move.
Safety Risk:
An aerial device (ladder) that is unable to move when required at a fire or a rescue scene could result in an increased risk of injury.
Corrective Actions:
Rosenbauer will notify owners by mail and provide you with a replacement solenoid and case, and directions for having it installed.
