Transport Canada Recall - 2020538 - FORD

Issue: On a small number of vehicles, the transmission cooler lines may have been installed incorrectly. As a result, the lines could be damaged by contact with the air conditioning compressor pulley. This can cause a transmission fluid leak. Safety Risk: Transmission fluid that leaks onto a hot surface can create the risk of a fire. Corrective Actions: Ford will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer to inspect the transmission cooler lines. Lines that are routed incorrectly will be corrected and secured with a clip. Damaged lines will be replaced.
