Issue:
On certain travel trailers, the wiring for the shore power cord inlet may not have been properly connected. As a result, the wiring could overheat and melt.
Safety Risk:
Wiring that overheats or melts could create the risk of a fire.
Corrective Actions:
Forest River will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your trailer to a dealer to rewire or replace the shore power cord inlet, as necessary.
