Issue

Issue: On certain travel trailers, an incorrect furnace fresh air intake sleeve may have been installed. This could allow furnace exhaust fumes to enter the trailer through the fresh air intake. If this occurs, carbon monoxide could build-up inside the trailer when the furnace is used. Safety Risk: A build-up of carbon monoxide inside the trailer could cause carbon monoxide poisoning, which may result in injury or death. Corrective Actions: Forest River will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your travel trailer to a dealer to replace the fresh air intake sleeve.
