Issue

Issue:
On certain vehicles, there could be a problem with the fuel pump assembly. As a result, the flow of fuel to the engine could be partially blocked. Under certain conditions, like a low fuel level, this could cause the engine to stall.

Safety Risk:
A sudden loss of engine power could increase the risk of a crash.

Corrective Actions:
General Motors will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer to replace the fuel pump module.
