On certain school buses, the mounting points for the shoulder belt and floor attachment points to restrain a wheelchair could detach in a crash. As a result, an occupant in a wheelchair may not be properly restrained in a crash.
A person that is not properly restrained could have an increased risk of injury in a crash.
Lion will notify owners by mail and instruct you to book an appointment to have the company perform modifications to your school bus. The shoulder belt anchor points and floor attachment points for restraining a wheelchair will be modified.
