Issue: On certain motorhomes, the tire valve stem extensions for the inner wheels may get damaged by contact with the outer wheels. If this happens, the inner tire could lose air pressure. This could overload the outer tire and cause it to fail. Safety Risk: A tire failure could cause a loss of control and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Newmar will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your motorhome to a Daimler Trucks North America (DTNA) authorized service facility to inspect and adjust the inner wheel valve stem stabilizers, as needed. The inner valve stems will be replaced, if required.
