Issue:
On certain motorhomes equipped with an awning, an electrical problem could cause the awning to extend suddenly.
Safety Risk:
An awning that extends while driving could increase the risk of a crash.
Corrective Actions:
Forest River will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer to install a circuit interrupter to prevent the awning from extending while the ignition is on.
