Issue

Issue:
On certain vehicles, moisture can freeze in the door handle cables for the rear sliding doors. If this happens, the door handle could stick in the open position. This can cause the door not latch properly when it is closed. As a result, the door could open while driving.

Safety Risk:
A door that opens while driving could create a risk of injury.

Corrective Actions:
Honda will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer to replace the cables for the outer handles on the power sliding doors.
