Issue
On certain fire trucks, a missing O-ring seal could allow moisture to enter the fuse box. This could result in corrosion of some electrical components. If this happens, the fuse box could overheat and/or cause certain electronic systems to malfunction.
Safety risk
A fuse box that overheats could create the risk of a fire.
Corrective actions
HME will contact owners directly and send replacement parts, provided by the fuse box supplier, along with instructions for installing them. They will also provide details for the reimbursement of labour costs.
