Issue: On certain motorhomes, the latch for the utility compartment door could rotate to the locked position when the motorhome moves or sways. If this happens, you will not be able to open the utility compartment. As a result, the shut off valve for the propane system would not be accessible. Safety Risk: If there is a propane leak and you are unable to access the propane shut off valve, there could be an increased risk of a fire or explosion. Corrective Actions: Triple E RV will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your motorhome to a dealer to modify the latching mechanism on the utility compartment door.
