Issue
Issue:
On certain buses, the bolt used to attach the driver’s seat belt may not be long enough. As a result, the seat belt may detach from its mounting point in a crash.
Safety Risk:
A seat belt that detaches in a crash could create an increased risk of injury.
Corrective Actions:
The Lion Electric Company will notify the owners by mail and provide you with the instructions for how to inspect the seat belt mounting bolt. If the seat belt is not properly attached, they will provide new hardware and instructions for installing it.
