Issue
Issue:
On certain school buses, the letters on the instruction label for the emergency exit window are too small. This could make it difficult to read the label. Canadian regulations require a minimum size for the letters.
Safety Risk:
If a person has difficulty reading the instructions for an emergency exit, there could be a delay before exiting the bus in an emergency.
Corrective Actions:
Daimler Trucks North America (DTNA) will mail a new emergency exit window label to all bus owners.
