Issue:
On certain vehicles, the rear brake calipers may not have been built correctly. This could cause an increase in brake pedal travel and result in reduced brake performance.
Safety Risk:
Reduced brake performance can cause extended stopping distances and increase the risk of a crash.
Corrective Actions:
Audi will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer to replace the rear brake calipers.
