Issue

Issue:
On certain school buses, the bolts that connect the steering intermediate shaft and pitman arm to the steering box were not properly tightened. If a bolt comes loose, there could be a complete loss of steering control.

Safety Risk:
A loss of steering could create the risk of a crash.

Corrective Actions:
The Lion Electric Company will notify the owners by mail. In addition, they will contact you by telephone to schedule an appointment for a Lion technician to inspect and tighten the affected bolts, as necessary.
