Issue
On certain motorcycles, the front brake hose holder may be incorrect. As a result, the front brake hose could move out of place and be damaged by contact with the front fork. This could cause a brake fluid leak and result in reduced brake performance.
Safety risk
Reduced brake performance can cause a loss of control and create the risk of a crash.
Corrective actions
Yamaha will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your motorcycle to a dealer to have the front brake hose holder replaced. Yamaha advises you not to drive your motorcycle until the recall repairs have been completed.
