Transport Canada Recall - 2020037 - VERMEER

Issue:
Certain vacuum excavator trailers may be missing various marker lamps, clearance lamps, reflectors, and reflective tape. Additionally, the reflective tape on the sides of the trailer may not be long enough. Canadian regulations require trailers to have these lamps and reflectors.

Safety Risk:
A trailer with missing lamps and/or reflectors is less visible to others and could create an increased risk of a crash.

Corrective Actions:
The company will notify owners by mail and supply the necessary parts and instructions. Owners will be instructed to take their trailer to a dealer to add brackets relocate the lamps. Dealers will also add the required reflective tape and reflectors.
