Issue

Issue: On certain side-by-side UTV's, the owner's manual instructs users to inspect the engine and exhaust areas often. Any debris that is found should be removed. If this is not done regularly, debris can collect on the exhaust manifold. Safety Risk: Debris on a hot exhaust system could catch fire. Corrective Actions: Do not drive your side-by-side UTV until the recall repairs have been completed. Kawasaki will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer to eliminate the catch tank and install an additional exhaust manifold cover.
