Issue
On certain school buses, the 150-A breaker installed under the driver’s seat may be too large for the wiring connected to it. As a result, the wiring could overheat before the circuit breaker trips.
Safety risk
An electrical circuit that overheats could increase the risk of a fire.
Corrective actions
Micro Bird will notify owners by mail and provide them with a replacement circuit breaker that has a lower current rating, and the directions for installing it.
