Issue:
The trailer hitch coupler installed on certain travel trailers may not be strong enough to support the weight of the trailer. As a result, the trailer could disconnect from the tow vehicle.
Safety Risk:
A travel trailer that disconnects from the tow vehicle creates the risk of a crash.
Corrective Actions:
Forest River will notify owners by mail within 60 days of the recall date. The corrective actions for this recall are still being finalized.
