Issue
On certain trikes (three-wheeled motorcycles), a software error in the traction control system could cause one of the rear brakes to activate suddenly. As a result, the motorcycle could change direction suddenly.
Safety risk
A rear brake that applies suddenly could affect vehicle control. This could create the risk of a crash.
Corrective actions
Harley-Davidson will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your motorcycle to a dealer to update the software for the electro-hydraulic control unit (EHCU). If you choose to ride your motorcycle before this recall is completed, Harley-Davidson recommends that you disable the traction control system (TC) before each ride.
