Issue:
Certain travel trailers were built with a center axle hanger that is too short. This could allow the axle to contact the chassis when the vehicle hits a bump.
Safety Risk:
An axle that contacts the chassis could increase the risk of a loss of control, which could result in a crash.
Corrective Actions:
Forest River will notify owners by mail and instruct them to take their travel trailer to a dealer to replace the axle equalizers.
