Issue
Issue:
On certain trucks, the baggage and/or sleeper side doors may not be properly attached to their hinges. This could cause the door(s) to detach while driving.
Safety Risk:
A baggage and/or sleeper side door that falls from the truck could create a road hazard for others and increase the risk of a crash.
Corrective Actions:
Daimler Trucks North America (DTNA) will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a DTNA authorized service facility to install two reinforcement clips on each baggage and sleeper door hinge.
