Issue
Issue:
On certain motorhomes, a heat shield was not installed over the exhaust system. This could cause the hydraulic lines for the levelling system to overheat and melt. If this happens, hydraulic oil could leak onto the exhaust system.
Safety Risk:
An oil leak onto a hot exhaust system could cause a fire.
Corrective Actions:
The company will notify owners by mail and instruct them to take their vehicle to a dealer to inspect the hydraulic lines of the levelling system. The lines will be replaced, if required, and a heat shield will be installed.
