Issue:
On certain travel trailers, the wiring in the hitch area does not have proper circuit protection. If a short circuit occurs, the wiring could overheat and melt.
Safety Risk:
Wiring that overheats or melts could create the risk of a fire.
Corrective Actions:
The company will notify owners by mail and instruct them to take their vehicle to a dealer to install a fuse to protect the circuit.
