Issue

Issue:
On certain motorhomes equipped with an awning manufactured by Fiamma, the awning could extend suddenly without a user input.

Safety Risk:
An awning that opens suddenly could injure a person standing beside the motorhome. If the awning extends while driving, it could increase the risk of a crash.

Corrective Actions:
Pleasure-Way will notify owners of affected motorhomes by mail. As a temporary repair, the awning must be strapped in a closed position to prevent it from opening suddenly. Pleasure-way will provide owners with straps as soon as they are available and tested. Pleasure-Way will pay a dealer or mechanic to install these straps. A final repair is being developed.
