Issue

On certain motorcycles, engine oil could enter the airbox through the crankcase pressure system. In rare cases, this could cause an oil leak near the rear tire.

Safety risk

An oil leak near the rear tire may reduce traction and could cause a loss of control that may result in a crash.

Corrective actions

Ducati will notify owners by mail and instruct them to take their vehicle to a dealer to inspect the crankcase pressure system. A valve will be installed if necessary.
