Issue

Issue: On certain 19 ft. (5.6m) travel trailers, the inverter fuse was installed on the floor below the inverter. If the inverter detaches from the wall, it could contact the inverter fuse and cause a short circuit. Safety Risk: A short circuit could create the risk of a fire. Corrective Actions: Airstream will notify owners by mail and instruct them to take their vehicle to a dealer to inspect the inverter and inverter fuse. The inverter fuse will be repositioned, as required, and a cover will be installed to protect the fuse bar.
