Issue:
On certain vehicles, a seam on the fuel tank may not be sealed correctly. This could result in a fuel leak along the seam near the fuel inlet.
Safety Risk:
A fuel leak, in the presence of an ignition source, could result in a fire.
Corrective Actions:
The company will notify owners by mail and instruct them to take their vehicle to a dealer to replace the fuel tank.
