Issue: On certain trucks equipped with a column shifter, the transmission gear indicator (P R N D) displays only the selected gear instead of displaying all positions and highlighting the selected gear. Canadian regulations require the transmission gear indicator to display all gear positions. Safety Risk: If the transmission shift sequence is not displayed correctly, a user may be confused about shifting the transmission. This could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: The company will notify owners by mail and instruct them to take their truck to a dealer to update the instrument cluster software.
