Issue: On certain trucks, the front brake piston seals might be contaminated. This could cause the seals to swell and result in brake drag, causing overheating of the brake pads, brake rotor, and brake fluid. This would affect brake performance. Safety Risk: Reduced brake performance can cause extended stopping distances and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: The company will notify owners by mail and instruct them to take their vehicle to a dealer to replace the front brake calipers, front rubber brake lines, and bleed the brakes.
