Issue: On certain trucks, an air supply hose for the brake system could separate due to loose compression fittings. This could result in a loss of air to the brakes. This would affect brake performance. Safety Risk: Reduced brake performance can cause increased stopping distances and create the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: The company will notify owners by mail and instruct them to take their vehicle to a Kenworth dealer to inspect all brake treadle valve hose connections. Any loose fittings will be properly tightened.
