Issue

Issue: On certain trucks, the engine rocker arms may have been manufactured incorrectly. This could result in premature wear and could cause engine noise. A rocker arm could also break, which may result in a sudden engine stall. Note: If an operator hears abnormal engine noises, or any engine warning lamps turn on, they should safely pull to the side of the road and turn off the engine. Safety Risk: A sudden loss of engine power could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: The company will notify owners by mail and instruct them to take their vehicle to a dealer to replace the engine rocker arms. While the engine is disassembled, the dealer will inspect for any damage, and will repair it as required.
