Issue
Issue:
On certain school buses, the outer handle for the roof hatch (emergency exit) could break. If this happens, it would be difficult to open the roof hatch from outside the bus.
Safety Risk:
An emergency exit that is difficult to open could increase the risk of injury in an emergency.
Corrective Actions:
The company will notify owners by mail and instruct them to take their vehicle to a Daimler Trucks North America authorized service facility to replace the roof hatch outer handle.
