Issue

Issue:
On certain vans converted to a mobility vehicle by BraunAbility, the steering shaft extension could break. If this happens, there would be a sudden loss of steering control.

Safety Risk:
A loss of steering control could create the risk of a crash.

Corrective Actions:
The company will notify owners by mail and instruct them to take their vehicle to a BraunAbility dealer to replace the steering shaft extension with an improved part.
