Issue
Issue:
On certain transit buses, the hardware used to secure some of the seats was not properly tightened. This could cause the hardware or seat mount to fail. As a result, the seat could drop to the floor.
Safety Risk:
Seats that are not secure could create a risk of injury for passengers.
Corrective Actions:
Nova Bus will notify owners in writing and provide them with directions for inspecting and replacing the seat rails and hardware.
